At 140 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles south of Columbus, or near Campobello. This storm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Landrum, Campobello, Tryon, Lake Bowen, and Gowensville.
