* WHAT...Flooding caused by recent rain and snowmelt continues. * WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following counties, Cheboygan and Emmet. * WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding is occurring following recent heavy rainfall and snowmelt. Roads and structures near lakes and rivers will continue to see high water levels with slow improvement expected into next week. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 213 PM EDT, flooding continues across the warned area, which encompasses a large portion of Emmet and Cheboygan counties. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Strengthening southeast winds and dry conditions will lead to near critical fire weather conditions Monday. Winds of 10 to 20 mph with frequent gusts up to 25 to 30 mph will be seen over much of northern MI Monday afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values of 25 to 35 percent are expected over interior locations of northeast lower. These conditions could lead to rapid spread of fires.
