* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Franklin and Union and the following counties, in Ohio, Butler, Clark, Greene, Montgomery, Preble and Warren. * WHEN...Until 915 AM EST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 338 AM EST, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to overnight thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Dayton, Hamilton, Kettering, Middletown, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Trotwood, Oxford, Miamisburg, Lebanon, Springboro, Monroe, Trenton, Franklin, Bellbrook, Batesville, Moraine, Carlisle and Oakwood.

Southwest winds will increase this morning with the passage of a strong cold front. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 to 45 mph expected this morning into the afternoon before diminishing toward evening. These gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects.
