IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Auburn, Seneca Falls, Waterloo, Pompey, Romulus, Owasco, Fleming, Otisco, Skaneateles, Locke, Genoa, Ledyard, Preble, Moravia, Union Springs, Niles, Scott, Truxton, Cuyler and Sempronius.

Flows in rivers may increase quickly and reach critical levels. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of western New York and the northern Finger Lakes Region. * WHEN...Through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and embedded thunderstorms continue through tonight which may result in 1" to 1.5", with localized amounts of 2" if thunderstorms repeat over the same area. Excess runoff from this rainfall may cause area waterways to reach or exceed bankfull stage.
