The Chongqing Meteorological Observatory issued a "yellow warning signal for lightning" at 0:30 on September 19, 2026. It is expected that 15 towns and streets including Nanshan, Changshengqiao, Yinglong, Danzishi, Xiakou, Jiguanshi, Tongyuan Bureau, Nanping Street, Huayuan Road, Guangyang, Nanping Town, Tushan, Haitangxi, Tianwen, Longmenhao, etc. may experience lightning activity within 6 hours, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall of 10-30 millimeters in some areas.
