THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 588 IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN PENNSYLVANIA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 14 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA ADAMS BEDFORD BLAIR CAMBRIA CENTRE CLEARFIELD CUMBERLAND FRANKLIN FULTON HUNTINGDON JUNIATA MIFFLIN PERRY SOMERSET THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALTOONA, BEDFORD, CARLISLE, CHAMBERSBURG, CLEARFIELD, DUBOIS, GETTYSBURG, HUNTINGDON, JOHNSTOWN, LEWISTOWN, MCCONNELLSBURG, MIFFLINTOWN, MOUNT UNION, NEWPORT, SOMERSET, STATE COLLEGE, AND WAYNESBORO.
