Heavy snow with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected. Locally higher amounts are possible.Temperatures will drop and heavy snow will continue today over the region. Snow will taper off Saturday afternoon or evening. Snowfall amounts will be highly variable. The highest snowfall amounts will most likely be over higher terrain and eastwards facing slopes, but most highways in the region, including the Trans-Canada Highway, will see impacts from the event. Travel will likely be difficult across parts of the region.###Roads and walkways may be very difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility may be reduced at times.
