At 537 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 10 miles north of Strasburg to 6 miles south of Elizabeth, or extending from 33 miles east of Denver to 35 miles southeast of Denver, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Elbert, Elizabeth, Kiowa, Deer Trail, Strasburg, Byers, Ponderosa Park, Leader and Fondis.

Northeastern Denver County in northeastern Colorado... * WHEN...Until 700 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 507 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Kiowa Creek, Third Creek, East Toll Gate Creek, Box Elder Creek, Running Creek, Toll Gate Creek, Murphy Creek, Cherry Creek, West Toll Gate Creek, Second Creek, Coal Creek, West Sand Creek, Horse Creek and First Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
