At 1209 AM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated strong winds ahead of a line of thunderstorms along a line extending from near Linton to Clinton to near Redbone to near Pleasant Hill to near River View, and moving south at 35 mph. HAZARD...35 to 45 mph wind preceding rain or lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Strong winds will occur before any rain or lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover. Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of light, unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Macon, LaGrange, Milledgeville, Thomaston, Barnesville, Sandersville, Forsyth, Gray, Butler, Sparta, Zebulon, Jeffersonville, Hamilton, Roberta, Talbotton, Irwinton, Warner Robins, Centerville, Byron, and Manchester.
