At 17:25 on August 15, 2026, Changning County Natural Resources Bureau and Changning County Meteorological Observatory jointly issued a Level III geological disaster meteorological risk warning: It is expected that in the next 24 hours, the geological disaster meteorological risk level in Mengtong Town, our county will be Level II (high risk), and the geological disaster meteorological risk levels in Tianyuan Town, Wengdu Town, Zhujie Township, Wenquan Town, Wandian Township, and Gengjia Township will be Level III (high risk), which are prone to geological disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and collapses. Relevant units and personnel are requested to be prepared for prevention.
