The monsoon trough lies across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast into the active low-pressure cell over the South China Sea while the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf will strengthen. Isolated heavy rain are likely in the country while isolated very heavy rain are possible in Bangkok and vicinity including the East. The wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are likely about 2 meters high, the lower Andaman Sea, the waves are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
