At 17:29 on October 1, 2025, the Dechang County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: Jinsha Lisu Township, Nanshan Lisu Township, Rehe Town, Tielu Town, Heilongtan Town, Badong Town, Changzhou Street, Cida Town, Mali Town, Leyue Town, Yonglang Town, Dezhou Street and other towns (streets) in Dechang County may experience lightning activity within 6 hours, which may cause lightning disasters and accidents. During lightning activity, local areas may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, short-term gusts of strong winds, hail, and other severe convective weather.
