Dejiang County Meteorological Observatory issues yellow lightning warning

At 10:09 on June 18th, the Dejiang County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow lightning warning signal: it is expected that thunderstorms will occur in towns such as Quankou, Gaoshan, Changfeng, and Shaxi in our county within the next 6 hours. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation, strong winds, and other severe convective weather. It is recommended to stop outdoor activities in open areas and stay away from large trees, corners of walls, or areas with protruding metal objects.

Description

Lightning activities may occur within 6 hours, which may cause lightning disasters.

At 1:50 on June 18th, the Dejiang County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for heavy fog: it is expected that fog with visibility less than 500 meters will appear at high altitudes in towns (streets) such as the county town, Shaxi, Yantang, Quankou, and Nangan in the next 12 hours. Drivers are advised to slow down and maintain a safe distance from their vehicles.

Description

Fog with visibility less than 500 meters may appear within 12 hours, or fog with visibility less than 500 meters and greater than or equal to 200 meters may have appeared and will continue.
