On the mountains wind gusts up to 37 m/s are expected

In the Žilina district winds are expected to rise in some mountain areas reaching in short blows impact speed of up to 30 - 37 m/s (110 - 135 km/h). The predicted wind speed is typical for the area and time of the year it can however pose potential risk for human activities.
