* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Collin County in north central Texas... Southeastern Denton County in north central Texas... * WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 446 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen in the Flood Advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the Flood Advisory area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. A Flash Flood Warning also remains in effect for southern Denton County extending from Bartonville eastward through Lewisville and The Colony where Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate Flash Flooding is likely ongoing. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Plano, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Denton, Richardson, Lewisville, Allen, Flower Mound, Wylie, The Colony, Southlake, Sachse, Corinth and Highland Village.
