Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 407 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms with rates to 2 inches per hour. The heaviest rainfall was located from near Gary to near Merrillville. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen so far.
