The Nanjing Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave at 09:08 on December 20, 2025: Due to the influence of strong cold air, it is expected that the lowest temperature in most streets (towns) in the city will drop by about 8 ℃ in 48 hours from the 20th to the 22nd, accompanied by gusts of 5 to 6 on land and 6 to 7 on water.
