The Hengshan District Meteorological Observatory upgraded and issued an orange warning signal for strong winds at 13:50 on May 5, 2025: It is expected that the following areas will be affected by strong winds in the next 6 hours, with an average wind force of 7-9 and gusts of 11 or above: Shiwan Town, Weijialou Town, Gao Town, Tawan Town, Zhaoshipan Town, Hancha Town, Wuzhen, Dianshi Town, Dangcha Town, Xiangshui Town, Hengshan Street, Leilongwan Town, Boluo Town, and Baijie Town. Please pay attention to prevention.

Description

It may be affected by strong winds within 6 hours, with average wind force reaching above 10 or gusts above 11; or already affected by strong winds, with average wind force from 10 to 11, or gusts 11 to 12 and may continue.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments should do a good job in anti-gale emergency according to their duties;

2. Elementary and middle schools and units with relatively weak wind resistance should suspend classes and business, and reduce the number of people going out;

The Hengshan District Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for sandstorms at 9:50 am on May 5, 2025: It is expected that there will be sandstorms or floating dust weather in the following areas in the next 12 hours, and there may be sandstorms in some areas (visibility less than 1000 meters): Baijie Town, Shiwan Town, Weijialou Town, Gao Town, Tawan Town, Zhaoshipan Town, Hancha Town, Wu Town, Dianshi Town, Dangcha Town, Xiangshui Town, Hengshan Street, Leilongwan Town, and Boluo Town. Sandstorms may occur within 12 hours (visibility is less than 1000m), or sandstorms have occurred and may continue.
