At 10:40 on January 30, 2026, the Changdu Meteorological Observatory in Xizang issued a yellow warning signal of road icing: it is expected that in the next 24 hours, there will be snow and ice on the G317 Jiangda Liewuqi Dingqing section, G318 Basu Ranwu section, G214 Wuqi Karuo Bangda Airport section, G349 Chaya Basu Luolong Bianba section, G558 Bianba section and high altitude sections of provincial, county and township roads that affect traffic. Defense measures: 1. Emergency, transportation, public security, urban management and other relevant departments should take effective measures to do a good job in road snow and ice removal and traffic diversion; 2. Drivers should pay attention to road conditions, slow down and take anti-skid measures to ensure road traffic safety.
Description
When the road surface temperature is lower than 0°C, precipitation occurs, and road icing that affects traffic may occur within 12 hours.
