At 15:57 on July 8, 2025, Dazhou Meteorological Station continued to issue the rainstorm blue warning: it is expected that there will still be a heavy rainfall weather process in our city from the evening of July 8 to the morning of July 9, including Quxian County, Dazhu, Dachuan District, Tongchuan District, High tech Zone, Eastern Economic Development Zone, Kaijiang, heavy to rainstorm (30~70mm), with the maximum hourly rainfall intensity of 20~40mm, and moderate to heavy rain (20~40mm) in other places, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and gales. Due to the large amount of accumulated precipitation in the early stage, it is necessary to pay attention to the adverse effects of precipitation superposition and prevent secondary disasters such as mountain floods, small and medium-sized river floods, geological disasters, and urban waterlogging that may be caused by heavy precipitation.
