The Kashgar Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for high temperatures at 16:33 on August 28, 2026: It is expected that from the daytime of August 28 to the daytime of September 2, some towns and villages in Kashgar, Shule County and Shufu County will experience high temperatures of over 35 ℃, and the highest temperature in some towns and villages can reach around 37 ℃. The public and relevant departments are advised to take precautions.

Description

The daily maximum temperature will be above 35°C for three consecutive days.

Guidelines

1. Relevant departments and units shall make preparations for heatstroke prevention and cooling in accordance with their duties;

2. Minimize outdoor activities in the afternoon;

3. Provide heatstroke prevention and cooling guidance for the elderly, the weak, the sick, and the young;
