The monsoon through lies across the lower Central and the East into a low pressure cell over the middle coast of Vietnam. Meanwhile the moderate high-pressure system from China extended cover the Northeast. Less rain in the upper Thailand and still remains isolated heavy rains are likely in the upper country and the South while morning cool and decrease in temperature are in the upper North and the Northeast. Farmers should take precautions against crop damage. People in upper Thailand and the upper South should keep healthy due to changeable weather and be aware of heavy rain and its accumulation. The moderate winds and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are expected to 1-2 meters high, and above 2 meters in thundershowers. In the Gulf and the lower Andaman Sea, waves are expected to be about 1 meter high, and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Addition, Typhoon “KALMAEGI” over the Pacific Ocean or the east of the Phillipines is likely to move into the middle South China Sea during 4-5 Nov. During 6–7 Sep, this storm is expected to make landfall over middle Vietnam. Storm “KALMAEGI” is forecast to downgrade rapidly to a tropical depression and then an active low-pressure cell respectively over the upper Thailand.
