Typhoon “KALMAEGI” cover the middle South China Sea by today (6 Nov 2025), this storm is expected to make landfall over Binh Dinh, middle Vietnam. Storm “KALMAEGI” is forecast to downgrade to tropical storm and tropical depression moving pass Laos. It is forecast to move into Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand on 7 November 2025 before weakening to active low pressure cell, respectively. The monsoon through lies across the upper South, the upper Gulf, and the East. More rain is likely in the Northeast of Thailand with strong winds and isolated heavy to very heavy rain are likely in such areas. The rather strong winds and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are expected 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, waves are likely about 2 meters high, and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
