Water levels 2 to 4 feet above the normal high tide line, peaking during each high tide. * WHERE...Western Arctic Coast and Kotzebue Sound. * WHEN...From 4 AM Wednesday to 4 AM AKDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Localized beach erosion may occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds will steadily ramp up Wednesday into Thursday, remain strong through Friday, then gradually weaken Friday night into Saturday. Winds will peak Thursday and Friday, with gusts up to 40 to 50 mph expected.

ESFAFG ...Locations Impacted... Streams draining southern slopes of the Western Brooks Range. Incoming rainfall from a atmospheric river will bring rainfall to the southern slopes of the western end of the Brooks Range through Friday. Rainfall totals may exceed two inches in some locations and cause significant rises on small streams. The Kobuk, Noatak, and Wulik Rivers should also see rises from this system into the weekend, but no flooding is expected.
