At 15:50 on August 9, 2025, Mianyang Meteorological Station issued a blue rainstorm warning: It is expected that there will be heavy rain to rainstorm in Anzhou, Fucheng, Youxian, Jiangyou, Zitong, Santai, Yanting, southern Pingwu and eastern Beichuan from the evening of August 9 to the evening of October 10, with a rainfall of 40 to 80 mm, some of which can reach more than 100 mm, and the maximum hourly rainfall of 30 to 60 mm, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, thunder and lightning, gusty gales and other severe convective weather.
