Showers and isolated thunderstorms are occasionally producing wind gusts as high as 65 mph across northwest and north central North Dakota late this afternoon. Gusts this strong are expected to remain limited in both time and space, but could still be locally damaging. The gusty winds could also cause isolated areas of blowing dust with significant visibility restrictions as low as a quarter mile. Move indoors when showers or thunderstorms pass through your area. If traveling, be prepared for difficult driving conditions and sudden changes in visibility.
