The monsoon trough lie across the upper North into the low-pressure cell over upper Loas and upper Vietnam while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with isolated heavy rain are likely in the country. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters high, 1-2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In addition, the active low pressure cell over the upper South China Sea is expected to intensify into tropical cyclone within a few days.
