HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams and normally dry washes. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Yava and Kirkland. This includes the following highways... State Route 96 between mile markers 11 and 12. State Route 89 near mile marker 293. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Kirkland Creek, Skull Valley Wash, Eastwood Creek, Little Shipp Wash, Alkali Wash, Santa Maria River, Copper Basin Wash, Quail Spring Wash, Tank Wash and Bland Creek.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive and long duration rainfall. * WHERE...Portions of central Arizona, including Yavapai and Gila Counties. * WHEN...Until 11 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Flooding will be possible over burn areas, low-water crossings, creeks, streams, washes and swimming holes. Larger creeks and rivers may exceed bankfull. Flooding of paved roads and highway underpasses will be possible. Unpaved roads could become muddy and impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Low pressure will interact with tropical moisture to produce numerous showers and embedded thunderstorms, with heavy rain that will fall over saturated soils and burn scars.
