A band of moderate to heavy freezing rain and sleet will continue to push east, impacting Raleigh, Fayetteville, Rocky Mount, and areas along and east of Highway 1. Ice accumulation of a tenth to two tenths of an inch may accumulate on roads, bridges, overpasses, and sidewalks, resulting in extremely hazardous road conditions. Additionally, reduced visibilities can be expected in pockets of heavy sleet.
