At 637 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northwest of Sunnyside, or 15 miles east of Price, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Sunnyside and East Carbon. This includes US Route 6 between mile markers 259 and 260.
