The meteorological observatory of Shigatse City, Xizang, issued a yellow warning signal of road icing at 17:30 on October 30: Affected by the rain and snow weather, it is expected that from 18:00 on October 30 to 18:00 on October 31, some high-altitude sections in G562 Yadong Section, G318 Nyalam Section, G318 Dingri Section, G219 Dingri Dingjie Section, G349 Angren Xietongmen Section, G562 Nanmulin Section, G349 Gyangzi Section and other places will easily form snow and ice, which will adversely affect road traffic. Defense measures: 1. Traffic, public security and other departments should take measures to deal with road snow and ice accumulation. 2. Drivers should take anti-skid measures to ensure safe driving.
Description
When the road surface temperature is lower than 0°C, precipitation occurs, and road icing that affects traffic may occur within 12 hours.
