At 10:23 am on June 26, 2026, the Kashgar Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for high temperatures: it is expected that from the daytime of June 27 to the daytime of July 4, most areas of the Kashgar Plain will experience temperatures above 37 ℃, with the highest temperature reaching around 40 ℃ from the daytime of July 1 to 3.
