The monsoon trough lies across the upper North and the upper Northeast of Thailand while the moderate to rather strong southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the upper country while isolated thundershowers are possible in the South. The moderated to rather strong wind force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Storm “RAGASA” is forecasted to downgrade rapidly due to the extending of the high pressure system of China during 25-26 September 2025. This storm is not move to Thailand. Due to storm “RAGASA”, the monsoon through and the southwest monsoon prevailing Thailand will strengthen during 25-26 September 2025.
