At 17:48 on September 16th, the Songtao County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow lightning warning signal: it is expected that lightning activity will occur in towns such as Ganlong, Shiliang, and Yong an in our county in the next 6 hours. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, strong winds, and other severe convective weather. It is recommended to stop outdoor activities and try to hide in buildings with lightning protection facilities.

Lightning activities may occur within 6 hours, which may cause lightning disasters.

铜仁市应急管理局发布防汛抗旱风险提示：根据气象预报，9月16日夜间到17日白天阴天有阵雨或雷雨，雨量小到中雨，市西北部局地大雨，个别站点暴雨。9月17日夜间阴天有阵雨，市西北部、梵净山区域局地中雨，9月18日白天阴天有阵雨。请市西北部、梵净山区域有关区县和各有关部门密切关注气象变化，加密监测研判和滚动预警，强化预警响应联动和部门协同联动。提前做好防范应对工作，有效防范局地强降雨对地质隐患点、景区景点、山塘水库、户外作业、交通出行等造成的不利影响。认真落实“五有”工作机制和"四个一律"工作要求，抓好群众转移避险，严防灾害造成人员伤亡。遇突发险情灾情第一时间处置并报告，市应急局值班电话：0856-5206570。
