At 18:50 on August 9th, the Songtao County Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow lightning warning signal: it is expected that lightning activity will occur in towns such as Panshi, Shichang, and Changping in our county in the next 6 hours. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, strong winds, and other severe convective weather. It is recommended to stop outdoor activities and try to hide in buildings with lightning protection facilities.
