Songtao County Meteorological Observatory issues yellow lightning warning

At 23:11 on August 5th, the Songtao County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow lightning warning signal: it is expected that lightning activity will occur in towns such as Panshi, Changxingbao, Panjia, and Mushu in our county in the next 6 hours. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation, strong winds, and other strong convective weather. It is recommended to stop outdoor activities and try to hide in buildings with lightning protection facilities.

Lightning activities may occur within 6 hours, which may cause lightning disasters.

据市气象台预报,预计今天下午到夜间我市阴天有阵雨或雷雨，雨量中到大雨，松桃、江口、碧江中东部、万山中东部、印江、德江东部、沿河南部、思南北部、石阡东北部局地暴雨，梵净山东侧个别乡镇大暴雨。最大小时雨强40-50mm，最大累计雨量80-100mm，个别乡镇达120mm，并伴有短时强降水、雷电等强对流天气。叠加前期降雨，强降水可能引发的山体滑坡、塌方、内涝等次生灾害。请各地各有关部门加密监测预报预警，强化预警响应联动，加强对地质灾害隐患点、风险斜坡、城区内涝、水库山塘、景区景点等高风险区域和重点部位的巡查管控，认真落实“五有”工作机制和转移避险"四个一律"工作要求，提前组织受威胁群众转移避险。遇突发险情灾情第一时间上报，市应急局值班电话：0856-5206570。
