At 18:05 on September 30, 2025, Suichang County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: Currently, there is a strong convective cloud cluster moving eastward in Jiangshan City, upstream of our county. It is expected that there will be strong lightning activity in towns (streets) and surrounding areas such as Hushan, Xifan, Huangshayao, Shilian, Jiaotan, Jinzhu, Dazhe, Fankou, Wangcunkou, etc. from this evening to the first half of the night. Local areas may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall of 20-40 millimeters per hour and strong convective weather such as 5-7 level thunderstorm winds. Please pay attention to preventing the adverse effects of strong convective weather on agricultural production, outdoor activities, transportation, and construction projects in progress.
