Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County. .Warm temperatures will melt high mountain snowpack and increase river flows. For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue. * WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM PDT Friday the stage was 21.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:30 AM PDT Friday was 21.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to gradually recede through the next couple of days, dropping below flood stage by May 17. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches. * WHERE...Stevens Pass. * WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 11 AM PDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Expect slippery road conditions over Stevens Pass Friday Night into Saturday morning due to periods of moderate to heavy snow showers. In addition, late season snow showers in the mountains may impact those enjoying outdoor recreation in the mountains above 4000 feet.
