At 8:18 am on July 17, 2026, the Weixi County Meteorological Observatory and the Weixi County Natural Resources Bureau jointly issued a Level III geological disaster meteorological risk warning: it is expected that the meteorological risk level of geological disasters in Weixi County will be Level III (high risk) in the next 24 hours. Please strengthen safety inspections of geological disaster prone areas, reservoir dams, construction projects, primary and secondary schools, transportation arteries, scenic spots, and urban flood prevention, and do a good job in preventing disasters such as flash floods, landslides, mudslides, and mountain collapses.
