The Kashgar Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for sandstorms at 21:01 on February 25, 2026: It is expected that from the evening to night of February 25, most areas of the Kashgar Plain will experience sandstorms or sandstorms with visibility less than 1000 meters. Description

Sandstorms may occur within 12 hours (visibility is less than 1000m), or sandstorms have occurred and may continue.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job in preventing sand and dust storms in accordance with their duties;

2. Close doors and windows, reinforce enclosures, scaffolds, billboards and other structures that are easily blown by the wind, properly arrange outdoor objects that are easily affected by high winds, cover building materials, and do a good job of sealing precision instruments;
