Thunderstorms may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, strong winds, and other strong convective weather. It is recommended to stop outdoor activities in open areas and stay away from large trees, corners of walls, or places with protruding metal objects.

At 17:41 on August 11th, the Bijiang District Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that in the next 24 hours, towns and streets such as Heping, Bahuang, Chuandong, and talc in our district will be affected by strong winds, with an average wind speed of up to level 6 and gusts of up to level 7, which may continue. It is recommended not to stay near glass doors and windows, billboards, dangerous sheds and simple houses as much as possible.
