The Binzhou Meteorological Observatory issued a blue typhoon warning signal for Bincheng District, High tech Zone, Development Zone, and Beihai New Area at 21:30 on July 26, 2024. It is expected that from the 27th to the 29th, all townships (streets) in Bincheng District, High tech Zone, Development Zone, and Beihai New Area will experience heavy rainfall due to the impact of Typhoon "Gemei", and may be accompanied by lightning, short-term heavy rainfall, and 7-9 level thunderstorm gusts. Among them, the cumulative precipitation in Bincheng District, High tech Zone, and Development Zone is 50-100 millimeters, while the cumulative precipitation in Beihai New Area is 60-120 millimeters, with some areas exceeding 150 millimeters. The maximum hourly precipitation is 40-60 millimeters. In addition, from the daytime of the 27th to the 28th, there will be strong winds, with gusts of 6-7 on the 4th level in inland areas and 6-7 on the 6th level in the northern coastal and sea areas.
