At 21:47 on September 24, 2025, Nantong Meteorological Station issued a blue rainstorm warning signal. It is expected that some towns (streets) in Chongchuan District, Nantong Development Zone, Hai an, Rugao, Rudong, and Tongzhou will experience heavy rainfall of over 50 millimeters tonight, accompanied by strong convective weather such as lightning and locally 7-9 level thunderstorm winds. 江苏省气象台2025年09月24日06时33分升级发布暴雨黄色预警：预计24日，南京中北部、南通北部、淮安南部、盐城中南部、扬州、泰州北部等地区将出现1小时雨量50毫米或24小时雨量150毫米及以上的强降雨，并伴有小时雨强40-80毫米的短时强降水和局地8-10级的雷暴大风。省应急厅（省防减救灾办）、省气象局提醒注意防范。
