At 18:59 on June 20, 2025, the Emin County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that some townships and towns in Emin County, as well as various regiments of the 9th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, will experience lightning activity from this evening to night. There is a high possibility of short-term heavy rainfall, hail, thunderstorms of around level 8, and strong convective weather in some areas. It is necessary to strengthen artificial hail control and prevent geological disasters such as flash floods and mudslides caused by short-term heavy rainfall in some areas.
