At 17:56 on October 5, 2026, the Hami Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from the daytime of the 6th to the daytime of the 7th, there will be gusts of up to level 8 in Sandaoling Town, Liushugou Township, Dewaili Duruke Township, Xishan Township, and Shuangjingzi Township in Yizhou District, Borqiangji Town and Santanghu Town in Barkol County, Qianshan Township, Yanchi Town, Weizixia Township, and Naomaohu Town in Yiwu County; Tianshan Township in Yizhou District and Xialaoba Township in Barkol County experienced gusts of up to level 9. The main transportation routes include S328 line from 111 kilometers to 250 kilometers, Harrow Road, Tuwu Copper Mine, and Baishanquan with gusts of 8 levels, Yiwanquan, Liaodun, and Dahaidao Mars Base with gusts of 9 levels, and Thirteen Rooms area with gusts of 10 levels in the Baili wind zone; Locally, there will be sandstorms.
