At 11:57 am on August 7, 2026, the Hami Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from the night of the 7th to the night of the 9th, gusts of up to level 7 will occur in the urban area of Yizhou District, Balikun County, and Yiwu County; Nanhu Township, Yamansu Town, Shuangjingzi Township in Yizhou District, Dahongliuxia Township, Xialaoba Township, and Borqiangji Town in Balikun County, Qianshan Township, Yanchi Town, Tuhulu Township, Weizixia Township, Xiamaya Township, and Naomaohu Town in Yiwu County with gusts up to level 8; Sandaoling Town in Yizhou District and Santanghu Town in Barkol County experienced gusts of up to level 9; Liushugou Township, Dewaili Douruke Township, Xishan Township, and Tianshan Township in Yizhou District experienced gusts of up to 10 levels. The main transportation routes include Harrow Highway, Tuwu Copper Mine, Yandun, Camel Circle, Xingxingxia, and Baishanquan with gusts of 8 levels, Naoliu Highway and S328 Line with gusts of 9 levels from 111 kilometers to 250 kilometers, Yiwanquan and Liaodun with gusts of 10 levels, and the Thirteen Rooms area in the Baili Wind Zone and the Dahaidao Mars Base with gusts of 11 levels; Locally, there will be sandstorms.
