At 15:49 on June 6, 2026, Aba Prefecture Meteorological Station issued a blue warning of rainstorm: it is expected that there will be moderate rain to heavy rain in most parts of the state from this evening to tomorrow day, and rainstorm (25-45mm) will occur in Ruoergai County, Hongyuan County, Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area County, Songpan County, the east of Aba County, and the north of Heishui County. The main precipitation period will be from 19:00 on June 6 to 20:00 on July 7.

At 17:55 on June 6, 2026, the Hongyuan County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: Qiongxi Town, Shujingsi Town, Wache Town, Anqu Town, Sedi Town, Longri Town, Jiangrong Township, Chalma Township, Amu Township, and Maiwa Township may experience lightning activity within 6 hours, which may cause lightning disasters and accidents. The process may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, gusts of strong winds, hail and other severe convective weather.
