At 17:19 on May 26, 2026, the Hotan Regional Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that there will be lightning activity in some areas of the southern mountainous areas of Pishan County, Moyu County, Hotan County, Luopu County, Cele County, Yutian County, and Minfeng County from afternoon to night today.
