At 16:34 on April 16, 2026, the Altay Regional Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from 23:00 on April 17 to 20:00 on April 18, there will be 9-10 level westerly winds in most parts of Jimunai County and Fuhai County, Kuosteke Town in Burqin County, Kalashilik Township, Cherkeqi Township, Sarhusong Township, Balibagai Township, Beitun Town in Altay City, Dure Town, Karabulgen Township, and Chakurtu Town in Fuyun County; Kekebuka, Seretier, Muhurtai, and Chaleshhai townships in Jimunai County, Jiangawuzi, Omartao, and Kekesun Mountains in Burqin County, CGN Wind Farm in Altay City, and the Wulunguhu Lake area and its surrounding areas in Fuhai County can reach wind speeds of up to level 11. There will be wind and snow blowing along G681 Ahe Highway, X852 (from Hemu fork to Hemu Township), S232 (from Kanas to Jadenyu), Kanas to Baihaba Village to Tiereketi Township, and G331 (from Fuhai to Fuyun to Qinghe).
