On April 24, 2024, at 15:50, the Malipo County Meteorological Bureau and the Malipo County Forestry and Grassland Bureau jointly issued a Level III forest fire risk meteorological warning: it is expected that in the next 7 days, all townships in our county will have sunny, hot, and less rainy weather, dry air, and forest fire risk meteorological level will be relatively high, making forest fires more likely to occur. Please pay attention to prevention.

Description

The forest fire risk level is three. Moderately dangerous, combustibles in the forest are easier to burn, and forest fires are more likely to occur.

Guidelines

1. Relevant departments should strengthen publicity and education on forest fire prevention;

2. Strengthen the supervision of mountain patrol and forest protection and the use of fire in the wild;

3. Make full preparations for fire fighting and disaster relief;

4. When entering the forest area, pay attention to fire prevention; take precautions when using fire in the forest or at the edge of the forest, and do not leave fire or litter cigarette butts.

Description

It is expected that the meteorological drought index will reach severe drought in the next week (meteorological drought is once in 25-50 years), or more than 40% of crops in a certain county (district) will be affected by drought.

Guidelines

1. Relevant departments and units do a good job of emergency response to drought prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Relevant departments use emergency standby water sources, dispatch all available water sources within their jurisdiction, and give priority to guaranteeing urban and rural residents' domestic water and livestock drinking water;

3. Reduce urban water supply indicators and give priority to irrigation water for cash crops, and restrict large amounts of agricultural irrigation water;

4. Restrict non-productive high water consumption and service industry water use, and restrict the discharge of industrial sewage;

5. The meteorological department shall conduct artificial precipitation enhancement operations in a timely manner.
