At 21:13 on August 8, 2026, the Ninghai County Meteorological Observatory upgraded the typhoon orange warning signal to a typhoon red warning signal: Due to the impact of Typhoon "White Dolphin", the maximum wind force is expected to be 12-14 on the coastal sea surface, 10-12 on the coastal and high-altitude areas of our county, and 9-11 on the inland from tonight to the day after tomorrow. All villages and towns (streets) in our county have heavy rain to rainstorm and local heavy rainstorm tonight, rainstorm to heavy rainstorm tomorrow, local extremely heavy rainstorm, heavy rain to the day after tomorrow, local rainstorm, and the maximum hourly rainfall intensity can reach 80~120mm. Please continue to guard against the adverse effects of typhoons.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall make emergency preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Stop large-scale indoor and outdoor gatherings, suspension of work, class, operation, market, and business (except for special industries);

3. On-water operations in relevant waters and passing ships shall return to the port to avoid wind, strengthen port facilities, and prevent ships from anchoring, grounding and collision;

4. Reinforce or dismantle structures that are easy to be blown by the wind. Personnel should stay in a wind-proof and safe place as much as possible. When the center of the typhoon passes by, the wind will decrease or remain static for a period of time. Remember that strong winds will suddenly blow, and should continue to stay. Take shelter from the wind in a safe place, and promptly transfer people from dangerous houses;

5. Relevant areas should pay attention to preventing mountain torrents and geological disasters that may be caused by heavy rainfall.

宁海县气象台2026年08月08日12时02分将暴雨红色预警信号调整为暴雨黄色预警信号：受台风“白海豚”影响，昨天以来我县梅林、西店、黄坛等地已出现暴雨局部大暴雨。目前降水有所减弱，预计今天我县所有乡镇（街道）累计雨量可达大到暴雨，局部大暴雨，明天暴雨到大暴雨，局部特大暴雨。请注意防范持续降雨可能引发的小流域山洪、滑坡、城乡积涝等次生灾害。
