At 16:38 on May 18, 2026, the Tacheng Regional Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from the afternoon to the night of the 19th, some areas of Tacheng City, Emin County, Yumin County, Tori County, Hebuxer County, Wusu City, Shawan City, and various regiments of the 9th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps will experience a westerly wind of about 7 levels. The wind speed along the line from Mayitas to Laofengkou Wind Zone and the line from Tiebukenwusan Township in Hebuxer County to Wutu Prague Ranch will be 8 to 9 levels, with gusts of 10 to 11 levels. Various preventive measures need to be taken in advance.
