The Nantong Meteorological Observatory upgraded and issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog at 05:37 on March 13, 2026. At present, strong fog with visibility less than 200 meters has appeared in Hai an, Rugao, Rudong, and Tongzhou. It is expected that strong fog will continue in the above areas from morning to morning, and there may be extremely strong fog with visibility less than 50 meters in some areas. Other areas have fog with visibility less than 500 meters and strong fog with visibility less than 200 meters in some areas.
